Today I spent most all day inside at a steam bath. With no windows, it was only vapors, heat and us. When we finally left, it was close to sundown. We chose to walk to a bus stop that would take us home. The neighborhood was still blanketed in white, and it was at that melancholy golden hour when the sun is a most concentrated honey color. We stood at the bus stop as the twilight shadows fell around us, and it would have been quite lonely if one had been standing there alone.
